The only problem with this is that the Mac does not automatically choose
the UAM for NT when you choose or automount the volume, so if you have
automount, or a program like Foolproof mounting a volume for you, it
will always use the appleshare UAM and the passwords will be sent via
cleartext instead of encrypted...sound paranoid..yeah, but you have to
look at stuff like this, I do not want to creat multiple accounts for
me, and I don't want my password visible on the net 8-).
