A true WMF is a vector file format though as you've discovered you can put
raster images in there. I'd think a better solution would be to save the
scanned image as a TIF, BMP, JPG and then take that right into PPT on the
PC without having to go through an extra step.
But, another question I have is why does PPT not respect the size of the
image file being imported? Many times when I import a TIF or JPG that's
been sized to say 4"x6" at 300dpi in Photoshop the image once imported into
PPT is much larger and I have to shrink it down to get it back to the 4"x6"
size.
