Just a follow-up. i was looking at my own "evaluation" Geocities
Netopia Virtual Office, and it looks like you need a plug-in to upload
files to a Geocities NVO account. And yup, that plug-in is Windows
only. >:P

Now, i just signed up an iMac Virtual Office (www.mynvo.com), and they
allowed me to download a Macintosh version of the client software...

On the other hand, the actual site: http://www.mynvo.com/notyou/
doesn't have a page to upload files to, as there is in my Geocities
page: http://www.netopia.geocities.com/notyoutoo/

Now... will this work with the Geocities V.O.? Who knows? But it's
probably worth playing with. (i don't have a Mac here at work so i
can't test it.)

And oh, i looked into pricing:

iMac: FREE to the first 100,000 that sign up.
Netscape: $199.50/year
Earthlink: $29.95/year
Geocities: $49.95/first year, $19.95/year thereafter

Netscape, Earthlink, and Geocities all claim that they only work with
95/NT 4.0.
