Hello!

Here's my situation. I have an Alpha 4/266 running WinNT 4.0 sp3, that
services about 25 Mac clients (OS 8.1) and about 6 Wintel clients all NT
Workstation 4.0 sp3 . I want to do something in the way of standby server
options, so that if my primary server dies, a backup server can step in and
take over.

I looked at a product that did this but it failed to handle the mac side of
things. I've got a couple of thoughts, that involve using something like
Ultrabac to backup files across the wire, but wanted some advice from
others.

Is anyone out there currently doing anything like this ? If so how ?

I'm also looking at something that I can put down the other end of a T3 a a
seperate location to support these users remotely.

Thanks!

Michael
