One possibility is that the user is using Virex 5.8. Have them upgrade
to 5.9. I went through that with 8.5 and Virex 5.8. It's a very
reliable 'bug' <G>

I discovered it on my own machine through trial and error with turning
off various extensions. Another resource is www.macfixit.com
