        Dear Brian,

        This one is pretty easy, even without opening the box. There's a >98%
probability that it's IDE/ATAPI. You can go to IBM's web site, then go to
Product Index and drill down from there; or you can right-click on My
Computer (assuming windoze 95/98) and look in the Device Manager... Just
double-click on the drive itself.
