    Hee...nice try Dan...now would you like to review the entire history of SCSI
    issues? Even today, how many times people still have to resort to the SCSI
    dance? Oh, how about all those scanners that only work as the highest LUN on
    the chain? Or at the physical end of the chain?

    Compared to SCSI's growing pains, FireWire is doing extremely well. I also
    find it interesting that in every case you cite, these are first -
    generation FireWire implementations. Things do improve you know...or do you
    stop using a technology at the first bug...wait, nevermind, of course you
    donšt, you still use computers.
