After years of messing with Appletalk printers and trying
to use combination of other networking solutions, I find
the HP network printers the most reliable for combination
    PC/MAC printing. HP 4MP, 5MP, 6MP, 4050 TN 4100 TN
and 4100 TN have all been workhorses.

I had good luck with the Espon 900N with the network
card for PC and Mac but Epson changes color printer
models faster than I change my ink cartridges. I'd
read the specs on the Espson Stylus 980N and see if
    if suits your needs.

    Visit:
    http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/ProductCategory.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1241823219.1001991848@@@@&BV_EngineID=dadccdgljmkebfdmcfjgckidnf.0&category=products&oid=-8165

for their inkjet printer selection. The prices go up based on
width of printing, number or colors and duty cycle. The
EPSON Stylus Color 980N sound like the one for you. THe
980 has an "optional network card" and you might safe
some money by going with the 980 and adding the
network card, but you might invite some snags, as I experienced
with the 900. Also got a 900N with card and it worked as advertised.
Check on drivers and your OS before you buy.
