Has anyone had any experience with the Snap server or their equivalent?

We have a small network of about 10 Macs and 5 PCs, supported by a G3
B&W tower running AppleShare 6.3.

We only use the server as a file server, providing a single volume to
the entire company over a 100 Base T Ethernet network. It also has
Retrospect running on it, with an Ecrix tape drive attached, and
backs up the whole network as well as the server at night.

Besides the fact that I would have to run the backup from another Mac
on the network, would we be giving up anything / gaining anything by
changing to such a dedicated server device. The question has come up
because we are going to have to increase the size of our server's
drive, and I thought this might be a good time to look into it.

Thanks
Rick Kent
