Thanks for the quick response. I think I was not clear in my question. I
will explain again.
It appears NameCleaner can be used to prepare files for cross-platform, and
it works on Mac only. What I have is a CD already made that didn't have
cross-platform in mind. Some of the files I need have characters that is
not allowed on Win (e.g., /, ?, etc..). Instead of copying them on Mac and
transfer over PC, I'm trying to find a Windows software solution, maybe a
program that can read files with illegal names and on-the-fly change the
name to a legal character and copy over to a windows.
Is there a thing like that?
